Sowerby Bridge: Take the A58 to Littleborough over Blackstone Edge. Past
the reservoir on your right and the old Blackstone Edge Road on the left as you
travel down the hill. At the next left-hand bend the Moorcock is on the right.

Rochdale:
Take the A58 towards Littleborough. At the first big roundabout
continue straight on onto the dual carriageway. Continue
straight on at the mini-roundabout and go straight on
through two sets of traffic lights. Carry on through Littleborough,
straight on at the roundabouts and through the traffic
lights, sign-posted A58, Halifax Road, towards Blackstone
Edge. The road changes to 40mph zone, and goes through
to the open countryside. The Moorcock Inn is at the end
of a straight stretch, just before a right hand bend in

the M62 junction 21:
At the roundabout turn left towards Milnrow and
Rochdale, Elizabethan Way, A640. At the traffic lights turn right
into Bridge Street and at the roundabout turn left into Kiln Lane,
B6225. Follow the road up the hill and bear left at the junction with
The Gallows pub into Wildhouse Lane, B6225. At the next roundabout
turn right into Smithy Bridge Road and then left onto Lake Bank, B6225,
which will take you round Hollingworth Lake. Follow the road round
the lake, bearing left at the Fisherman's Inn into Hollingworth Road
and then Canal Street, B6225. At the next junction turn right onto
Halifax Road, A58, towards Blackstone Edge. The road changes to 40mph
zone, and goes through to the open countryside. The Moorcock Inn is
